Your Complete Guide to an Amazing Stay at West Canada Creek Campground


WELCOME TO YOUR ADVENTURE West Canada Creek Campground is a private property dedicated to creating memorable outdoor experiences. Every adventurer who joins our community agrees to follow these guidelines, ensuring an amazing experience for all.

BASECAMP TIMING & TRANQUILITY Check-in Protocol:

  • Adventure begins at 2 PM

  • Early arrivals cannot always be accommodated; check with front desk - $25 fee applies

  • Late arrivals must arrange in advance

  • No check-ins after 9 PM to maintain camp peace

  • All adventurers must register at front desk

Check-out Time:

  • 12 PM departure to welcome new explorers

  • Late checkouts available based on availability

Peace in Camp:

  • Quiet Hours: 10 PM to 8 AM

  • 24-hour courtesy expectations

  • No generators permitted

  • Respect your fellow adventurers' space and peace

CAMPFIRE & SITE SAFETY Fire Protocol:

  • Fires only in provided rings (5 feet from equipment/structures)

  • Adult supervision required at all times

  • Maximum height: one foot above ring

  • Certified firewood available at camp store

  • Outside firewood strictly prohibited (protect our forest!)

  • Must be extinguished before retiring

  • No burning of leaves, trash, treated wood

  • Maximum height: one foot above ring

  • No ash dumping in woods

  • Keep fire rings clear of debris

Personal Equipment:

  • Personal grills welcome (not on picnic tables)

  • Bug lights prohibited

  • Fire restrictions may apply based on conditions

BASECAMP OCCUPANCY Site Limits:

  • Your site includes 2 adults + up to 4 children (17 and under) in the base rate.

  • Maximum 10 campers per site (children and adults combined).

  • Additional campers over the base rate are subject to extra guest fees.

  • Occupancy is monitored for the safety and enjoyment of all adventurers.

  • Maximum 1 large tent (6+ person) or 2 small tents

  • 2 vehicles per site, extras in overflow with fees (in line with visitor rates)

  • No tents with RVs

ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP Protecting Our Forest:

  • Use existing paths only

  • No cutting/damaging vegetation

  • No nails in trees or picnic tables

  • No trenching or digging

  • Keep food secure from wildlife

  • No feeding wildlife

  • No interference with local animals

  • Proper garbage disposal required

TRAIL & TRANSPORTATION RULES Vehicle Protocol:

  • 5 MPH speed limit

  • Car pass required

  • Motorcycles: Entry/exit only (8 AM-10 PM)

  • Quiet motorcycles at sites (pre-arrange)

  • No visitor motorcycles

Bicycles:

  • Follow traffic laws

  • Helmets required under age 16

  • No riding after dark

  • Roads only, no walkways

  • No riding near camp office

Prohibited:

  • Golf carts

  • ATVs

  • Dirt bikes

  • Drones

  • Radio-controlled vehicles

EXPLORER'S AMENITIES RV Services:

  • Proper sewer connections required

  • 6-inch maximum hose insertion

  • Airtight seals mandatory

  • Dumping at designated stations only

Mail & Packages:

  • No regular mail service

  • Package delivery requires advance approval

  • WCCC not responsible for deliveries

FURRY ADVENTURERS (PET POLICY):

  • $5/pet fee (100% supports local no-kill shelter)

  • Maximum 2 pets per site

  • Dogs & cats only

  • Must be leashed (6 ft max, no retractables)

  • Never left unattended

  • Clean up required

  • Current vaccinations required

  • Not permitted in cabins or community areas

  • No visitor pets

  • Service animals welcome everywhere

GENERAL CONDUCT:

  • Family-friendly environment

  • Proper attire required

  • No public intoxication

  • Alcohol at sites only

  • Smoking/marijuana use allowed inside RV only

  • No smoking in bathrooms

  • No subletting

RESERVATION & PAYMENT Booking Requirements:

  • Advanced reservations required

  • Full payment at booking

  • $6.50 booking fee

  • Primary guest 21+

  • Valid credit card required

  • One discount per reservation

Cancellation Policy:

  • Written notice required (no exceptions)

  • Under 1 week stay: Full refund less one night (10+ days prior)

  • Week+ stay: Full refund less two nights (10+ days prior)

  • No refunds within 10 days of arrival

  • Holiday weekends non-refundable 2025 Holidays: May 24-26, Jul 3-7, Aug 29-Sep 2, Oct 11-13

  • No weather-related refunds

  • Refunds for shortened stays (e.g., reducing from 4 to 3 nights = 1 night held; reducing from 4 to 2 nights = 1 night held, 1 refunded)

  • Travel insurance recommended

  • All cancellations, modifications or changes to bookings must be sent in writing

SAFETY & ENFORCEMENT:

  • Profane, intoxicated, or disorderly behavior will result in immediate removal without refund

  • No refunds for rule violations

  • All activities are for registered guest use only.

  • Supervision is required for all children 16 and under during any park-provided activities, including the swimming pool

  • No swimming alone

  • Alcohol and glass are not permitted at the pool

  • Use facilities only during posted hours

  • All activities are at your own risk

VISITOR & EXTENDED STAY GUIDELINES - BRINGING FRIENDS ALONG?

  • Must register at camp office

  • Day visitors: $7/person (age 5+); Holiday Week $10/person per day

  • Overnight guests: Additional $8/night; Holiday Week Additional $10/person per night

  • Day visitors depart by 8 PM

  • Maximum 4 visitors per site

  • Sorry, no visitor pets allowed

  • All visitors must follow guidelines

  • Non-refundable payment

UTILITY AND AMENITIES INTERRUPTIONS

  • Campground management is not responsible for interruptions or failures of utilities or amenities, including but not limited to electricity, water, sewer, Wi-Fi, or cable services. While every effort will be made to restore service as quickly as possible, no refunds, reimbursements, or rate reductions will be issued due to temporary outages, fluctuations, or failures beyond the control of management (including power surges or overloads caused by camper equipment).

What is your cancellation Policy?

Written cancellation required. 10+ days prior: less one night fee for short stays, less two nights for weekly+. No refunds within 10 days or for holidays (2025: May 24-26, Jul 3-7, Aug 29-Sep 2, Oct 11-13). Travel insurance recommended. Please read our campground policy Here

Can I have a campfire, and what about firewood?

Campfires are welcome at your site's designated fire ring. To protect our local forests from invasive pests and diseases, outside firewood is not permitted. Quality firewood is available for purchase at our camp store and we'll deliver it right to your site!

Are pets allowed at your campground?

Yes! Two pets max per site (dogs/cats only) with $5/pet fee - all proceeds support our local no-kill shelter. Must be leashed, supervised, and current on vaccinations. No pets in cabins or community areas. Service animals welcome everywhere. Please clean up after your pet

Can I have visitors during my stay?

Yes absolutely! Day visitors welcome until 8 PM ($7/person age 5+) and overnight visitors ($15/person). Total number of registered campers and visitors cannot exceed 10 people per site. All visitors must register at the office before arrival. Sorry, no visitor pets.

What's included in my site?

Your site comes with parking for 2 vehicles, fire ring, and picnic table. Base rate includes 2 adults and up to 4 children (under 18). Additional adult campers: $15/night per person. A one-time $6.50 booking fee applies to all reservations.

When can I arrive, depart and what are the quiet hours?

Check-in is 2 PM and check-out is 12 PM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for $25, subject to site availability. After 8 PM arrivals must be arranged in advance. All guests need to register at the front desk. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM, with all site lights out by midnight.

How many people can stay on a campsite?

Each site includes 2 adults and up to 4 children (under 18). Additional adults are $15/night per person. One tent per site only (two tents allowed on tent-specific sites). RV sites do not permit any tents. Maximum 10 people total per site, including all campers and visitors.

Do you offer early check-in or late check-out options?

Yes! Based on availability, we offer early check-in (noon instead of 2 PM) or late check-out (2 PM instead of noon) for $25 per option. Contact our front desk in advance to arrange this service.
